Let's face it. Geography is hard. So here's a map of Africa, with Ethiopia conveniently circled. Addis Ababa, the capital, and where I'll be living, is in the dead center of the country.
Now that I've clicked through to the interactive map of Africa and listened to the Ethiopian national anthem, I feel much more connected! I think a blog is a wonderful idea and will help all your family and friends feel connected to your trip. What great idea.
Can't wait to hear what you think once you've gotten there and had a chance to see things for yourself.
I agree with Anonymous. I mean, Mom. Way to blog, Kate. Looking forward to reading all about it... especially a story about how the eye patch went over on your flight.
